cifX90 can be used to add a RealTime Ethernet or Fieldbus Interface to a PC on motherboards supporting mini PCI or mini PCI-Express expansion slots without needing any hardware development. Supplied with a short cable and separate connector module (AIFX) for mounting in the side of the PC enclosure. Suitable for RealTime Ethernet and Fieldbus, Master and Slave protocols. Loadable firmware is provided for the required protocol at no additional charge for slave devices and a small licence cost to run as a master.

High performance isochronous RealTime Ethernet networks can be supported such as PROFINET V2.3 and EtherCAT Slave V4. The host interface is either a fast 50MHz SPI, 8/16bit DualPortMemory or PCIexpress. A complete solution with connectors can be mounted from the outside of your product enabling field exchangeable modules, eliminating inventory and shifting the flexibility to your customer. Loadable firmware is provided for the required protocol at no additional charge for slave devices and a small licence cost to run as a master. Development kits with either a host PCI-Express interface to enable a fast evaluation from a PC or a DualPortMemory connector for wiring to your application's host.

The netX networX on Chip is a family of controllers enabling state of the art communications on the popular Industrial RealTime Ethernet and Fieldbus protocols. It's possible using a netX to put your whole product's function including the communications into the ARM controller or use it as a companion chip to add communications. Enables a fast time to market, reduced risk alternative to a full chip design to provide RealTime Ethernet and Fieldbus connectivity to your industrial product. Featuring in the case of netRAPID 5x a small stamp size solder-in module including all the necessary components a full slave functionality can be added with the addition of network interface connectors and an address switch. The Development kit includes 3 loose netRAPID modules for your prototypes, further modules are supplied in trays of 24 pcs. The loadable firmware for the various protocols is provided for a one off cost under a simple licencing agreement and can be loaded to the netRAPID's flash memory. A similar approach with netRAPID 90 but in addition the second ARM is available for your own application.

netIC is a simple dual-in-line 32 pin module. Based on netX technology the full spectrum of RealTime Ethernet and Fieldbus systems can be easily added to your product. Supplied as a fully integrated module only needing a power supply and connectors. The host interface can be either a simple Modbus RTU or shift registers controlled by a synchronous serial interface therefore requiring no additional processor for a simple I/O-Device. The module is provided with firmware and a simple configuration tool without additional cost. A development kit with host interface connector switches and LEDs enables a fast evaluation.
